Previous Re-Roof GAF Lifetime Monaco Shingle
Project in Wellington, Florida!


This was a 28 year old concrete tile roof in very poor condition. The owner wished to have a new roof installed, but didn’t want the maintenance of the tile roof anymore. We introduced a new style of a roof system, a GAF Lifetime Shingle System. This style was a similar style and color of their terracotta concrete tile roof system. The GAF Monaco Lifetime Shingle looks just like tile, but is maintenance free and less expensive. Along with this the roof will not need to be power washed yearly to accommodate the cleaning rules by the local HOA.

Our crews removed the concrete tile roof down to the plywood sheathing. Once all of the weathered and damaged plywood sheathing was replaced, we re-nailed the decking. By re-nailing the decking the home owner will be eligible for a discount on their insurance premium policy. Once the necessary steps to document this stage, we continued to install 30# felt mechanically attached to Miami-Dade County Codes. Then we installed a GAF Showcase Lifetime Monaco Shingle Roof System. This roof was recognized by GAF as a showcase home in the Wellington area.
